Non-CO₂ Aviation Effects: What Operators Need to Know
From 1 January 2025, aircraft operators under the EU ETS must monitor, report, and verify non-CO₂ aviation effects using the EU’s Non-CO₂ Aviation Effects Tracking System (NEATS). Operators are required to define their reporting scope, update their Annual Emissions Monitoring Plan (AEMP), and select an approved calculation method.
