Shipping Environmental Auditor

Key responsibilities

Minimum skills: 

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• Advance knowledge of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 Emissions
• Advance knowledge of environmental offsets and offsetting projects
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently
• Strong business ethics and ability to maintain independence and objectivity
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment

Preferred skills:

• Auditing experience (quality, environment, operations, etc.)
• Experience in ship operations or marine engineering
• Knowledge of environmental / performance shipping regulations
• Experience working within the requirements of a QMS or within the requirements of a standard
• IT proficiency
• Knowledge of data analysis tools and/or programming languages (Python, R…)

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Environment, Marine Engineering, Naval Architect, Data Sciences, or Mathematics
