Normec Verifavia and Eyesea Collaborate to Boost Maritime Sustainability
Normec Verifavia, a global leader in emissions verification and environmental compliance, is proud to deepen its collaboration with Eyesea, a nonprofit dedicated to collecting data for mapping ocean and coastal pollution. Together, we are exploring opportunities to develop verification and certification standards that recognize pollution cleanup and processing efforts – an initiative that meets a growing demand from community clean-up groups worldwide.
Eyesea’s founder, Graeme Somerville-Ryan, highlights the significance of this collaboration:

When Eyesea reached out to multiple maritime certification providers, many expressed interest in their pollution data but lacked commitment to their broader environmental mission. It was during a conversation with Nicolas Duchene, CEO of Normec Verifavia, that Eyesea found a like-minded partner with proven expertise in environmental verification and a strong commitment to sustainability.
